Internships via Jobbsprånget
The purpose of the Jobbsprånget program is to speed up the entry into working life and give you a chance to show your potential. This opportunity will give you valuable contacts, relevant experience, and a chance to meet Swedish colleagues.
Internships are often a good way to enter the Swedish job market. But how to find one and what is the process can be tricky. The initiative Jobbsprånget, Sweden's largest internship programme for internationals with an academic background, will be at ICHL to tell you how it works. An internship can be a great opportunity to launch your career.
Peter Mayerhofer from Jobbsprånget will talk about the four-month-long internship program, run by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). The program connects you with Swedish employers in need of your specific competence.
The purpose of the program is to speed up the entry into working life and give you a chance to show your potential. This opportunity will give you valuable contacts, relevant experience, and a chance to meet Swedish colleagues.
In order to apply to Jobbsprånget you have to fulfil the following criteria:
- You have a degree in engineering, IT, architecture, science, pharmacy, business/finance, HR or communication (bachelor, master or higher.
- You are a college graduate born outside of EU or other European countries.
- You have a work permit (please note, not student visa).
- You have proficient English language skills, both spoken and written.
- You are registered at Arbetsförmedlingen (Swedish Public Employment Agency).
Please be on time as the presentation will begin at 11:00. If you are unable to attend, please unregister or let us know asap so we may allow those on the waiting list to attend as seating is limited.
