Peers & Careers: Weekly co-working for job seekers

This fall, we're excited to collaborate with Social Hub Lund, who will be hosting their popular networking events Peers & Careers and Get in Touch & Grow Your Network at ICHL.

Are you actively searching for a job and looking for a supportive space to stay motivated? Then Peers & Careers is the perfect place for you! Don’t sit alone at your kitchen table — take the opportunity to connect with others in a similar situation, meet the Social Hub team, and get to know their volunteer career mentors.

Bring your laptop, job ads, CV or cover letter drafts, LinkedIn profile, questions, or anything else you need. No registration is required — just drop in!

Every Thursday afternoon, Social Hub Lund hosts this activity at International Citizen Hub Lund, providing time, space, and peer support for job seekers to work on job applications, fine-tune their LinkedIn profiles, practise interview questions, and connect with other job seekers. Share insights, tips, and feedback — and become part of a supportive and motivating community!

When:

  • Thursdays at 12:30-14:00, starting 17 September.

Where:

  • International Citizen Hub Lund, Bytaregatan 9, Lund.

Doors open 10 minutes before the event.

Details:

  • This event is free of charge – but if you join regularly you should become a member of Social Hub / Interkultur i Lund. You do so by paying a community contribution for 100 kr/year (valid until December 2027), which allows you to also join all the other activities and events the Social Hub Lund organises.
  • During the event we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. We process and publish these photographs under the legal basis of public interest, in article 6.1 e in the GDPR. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event.
