Visit to Family Center Fäladsfamiljen
Get an introduction to the activities gathered under one roof: BVC/childcare center, open preschool, social counseling, parent education and midwife clinic. You will also meet and have the possibility to exchange experiences with other international families.
Are you a parent with children aged 0-6 years? Or expectant and curious about life with children after giving birth? Lund’s first Family Center, Familjecentralen Fäladsfamilien, invites parents and children from the ICHL-community to visit their facility.
Besides getting to know the different institutions at the family center, this event also gives you the opportunity to meet other international families and ask question you might have about raising a child in Sweden!
As the concept of family centers is highly popular in Sweden, this event might also be interesting for families living in Malmö where you find several family centers as well.
At the family center we will get a short introduction to all activities gathered under one roof:
- BVC - a childcare center
- Open preschool
- Social counseling
- Parent education
- BMM - midwife clinic
We also have the chance to experience the heart of the family center, the open preschool. It is a great place for parents and children to hang out, meet other parents and children, play, sing, exchange experiences and gather around common activities.
There will be a light “fika” offered during the event.
