Finding your tribe and making new social connections is surely one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult - parts of the puzzle when moving to a new country.
Living abroad means also living far away from family and friends. Especially at the beginning of your new journey, this can lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection when you would need social support the most. Additionally, building and expanding your professional network is essential for integrating into Swedish society.
At this ICHL Ambassadors event, we aim to address these challenges by providing insights and practical tips for social integration and networking in Sweden. Our ambassadors, Jeannette Longo, Leyla Lutfi, Martina Ferrucci, and Salvador Segura González will share their experiences and offer valuable advice on navigating the social landscape and creating meaningful relationships in Sweden.
The event will include engaging presentations from our ambassadors, followed by an interactive panel session. Join us for this ambassador event, where you'll not only gain knowledge and inspiration but also have the opportunity to make new connections and friendships within the ICHL community.
We will kick off the event at 17:15 with a mingle session, providing attendees with the chance to enjoy light snacks and beverages while mingling with fellow participants and our ambassadors. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this enriching experience together!
