27 May - How to cope during times of extreme stress

WEBINAR: In this session, Janine Miller will discuss strategies to manage the overwhelm of emotions many of us are feeling during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As this is our first digital event via Zoom, we kindly ask you for your patience if we experience any technical difficulties. We also ask you to join on time as not to disrupt the session for others.

It’s stressful enough trying to settle into a new country. Covid-19 has brought new and unique challenges including worrying about our own health and the health of our loved ones. For many people this global crisis has created not only extreme anxiety, but also feelings of anger, fear, confusion, sadness and helplessness. In this webinar, Janine Miller will discuss strategies to manage the overwhelm of emotions many of us are feeling.

Janine is a psychotherapist and expat coach with personal experience of moving to a live in a new country (twice). She has been in Sweden since 2017 and is deeply committed to helping people feel better!

This webinar is a collaboration between the International Citizen Hub Lund, Janine and NISAD (National Institutes for Stress, Anxiety and Depression), who Janine supports in her role as Clinical Director, helping to create programmes, apps and games aimed at changing harmful habits.

Link to join the webinar will be sent in the confirmation e-mail upon registration.
