21 October - An introduction to Swedish Workplace Culture
Join this session and get strategies for the most common difficulties newcomers stumble upon when dealing with the Swedish workplace culture.
In this seminar we are going to explore the Swedish workplace culture and its typical behaviors and habits from a newcomer’s perspective. Newcomers to Sweden often experience the local workplace culture as distinctive.
Linking back to the Swedish cultural background and foundational values, we will discuss what is typically practiced and expected in terms of teamwork, leadership style, decision making, communication and other aspects of everyday life at work.
By offering some real-life looks and cultural insights, the seminar aims to support anyone interested in approaching the Swedish mindset and customs with a specific focus on the workplace, be it virtual or physical, local or global. The instructional approach is practical. No prior knowledge and/or experience is required.
The registration will open up two weeks before the event, at the latest.
During our events we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event.
