12 November - Associations in Lund

How can individuals join or start up new associations? What does an association expect from its volunteers? At this event you will get the answers.

In the municipality of Lund there is a long tradition of organizing in associations. Associations are amongst other things a large part of the University and its student culture, but also a vital aspect of Lund municipality.

In Lund we have several hundreds of associations with different focuses, some offer a wide variety of sports towards children and youth, some are NGOs that work with social inclusion, some are political organisations, cultural, ethnic etc. What does an association expect from its volunteers? How can individuals join or start up new associations? All these are questions we hope to answer!

Oliwer Karlsson works as an inclusion coordinator at Lund municipality and Kamyar Alinejad as a project leader in Etablering i förening (etablishment through association).

During our events we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event. Thank you!
