“Starting a company in a foreign country brings its own unique set of challenges and opportunities. Sweden has a robust support system for entrepreneurs, and I plan to take full advantage of these resources to build a successful business. My goal is to leverage my architectural expertise and the knowledge I've gained over the years to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for my clients.”

Zamir standing in front of the sea,

Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated by stories of life in other countries. In my home country, almost every family had at least one member who had moved abroad for various reasons. Some were pushed to leave because of war at the end of the last century, some sought to improve their lives, and others wanted to build their careers and step out of their comfort zones. I was one of those who wanted to try something new.
I came to Sweden at the age of 24, having already secured a job before my arrival. It was summer, and my first impression of Sweden was very positive. I spent over four and a half years working here, and during this time, I also had the opportunity to visit many other countries. As someone who graduated with a Master degree in Architecture, I felt that moving to Sweden in the summer of 2019 was the perfect opportunity to gain new experiences and strengthen my skills as an architect. I learned a lot about new materials and design principles that have greatly improved my expertise.
As soon as I arrived in Sweden, I started learning Swedish through SFI (Swedish for Immigrants). I completed the SFI program and continued to learn Swedish at the next level, SAS Grund (Swedish as a Second Language), which I studied remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions. This experience not only helped me improve my language skills but also adapt to new ways of learning. Now, I feel confident in my Swedish language abilities.
During my time at the International Citizen Hub Lund, I gained a wealth of knowledge. Among many other things, I learned a bit about how companies operate and the procedures for opening one. This insight has been invaluable as I prepare for the next step in my career.
Now, in 2024, I’m ready to embark on a new chapter in my life. I’m in the process of opening a new company focused on architectural and construction consulting. This is a new challenge for me, as I have the knowledge but not the experience of being a company owner.

Sweden has a robust support system for entrepreneurs, and I plan to take full advantage of these resources to build a successful business. While the journey ahead is filled with uncertainties, I am excited about the possibilities. I believe that my diverse experiences and commitment to continuous learning will be invaluable as I navigate this new venture. By combining my passion for architecture with a keen understanding of both the local and international market, I am confident in my ability to establish a thriving consulting firm.

I invite fellow professionals and potential clients to connect with me on LinkedIn. Whether you wish to share your experiences, discuss the topics covered, or explore how my company can assist you, I look forward to engaging with you.
